Hello, I’m Tamzin (she/her). I’m an Accredited Life and Career Coach working with people who want to lead more balanced, intentional, values-driven lives. I have a background in Performing Arts & Charities Management and a big passion for the outdoors.

Please scroll down for more on my background and credentials.

Coaching is not an advice based practice.

I’m not here to tell you how to live your life. I’m not here to tell you what I would do, what I think you should do, or what I’ve done in a similar situation.

I’m here as your coach to guide you through a process that will provide you with new perspectives on yourself, your life, and your options. I’m here to support you as you locate the courage and clarity to be able to move forward with purpose to achieving your own, unique life goals. You already have all the answers you need inside you – coaching is an active process of bringing those answers to the surface and enabling you to give structure and shape to those answers so you can decide how best to make use of them.

  • I am accredited as a Coach by Relational Dynamics 1st and Culture at Work Ltd, having graduated in 2020. ‘Relational Dynamics’ is an approach to coaching that draws on theories and tools from a wide range of disciplines including coaching, emotional intelligence, psychology, neurology and contemporary research into leadership.

I receive regular professional supervision and am an Associate Member of the Association for Coaching (AC) . I conform to the Code of Ethics and practice as laid out by the AC and have the appropriate insurance cover.

You can view my accreditation certificate here.

  • In 2019, after 16 years working in the industry, I took the leap away from full-time leadership roles in the performing arts towards a freelance portfolio career that would give me greater autonomy, variety and flexibility. I also qualified as a coach. Alongside my coaching practice, I now freelance as a multi-award winning creative producer, strategic consultant, and fundraiser working across the creative industries. Among others I have worked with: The Royal Opera House, English National Opera, London Philharmonic Orchestra, VOPERA, Wilton’s Music Hall, Southbank Centre, New Studios Ltd, The Association of Exiled Scots, and Intermusica Artists’ Management.

I am also a Trustee of Play for Progress, a brilliant UK charity supporting unaccompanied young people seeking asylum in the UK.

Part of what motivated me to transition to a freelance career was a desire to make my love of the outdoors a more integrated part of my life. I hike long distances with a tent on my back, ski-tour through the Alps and across the Arctic, climb rock and ice, and take pretty much any opportunity to jump into a lake or stream. All the photographs on this website were taken on my outdoor adventures. Coaching gave me the confidence and clarity to make the big changes in my life needed to achieve the balanced and rewarding personal and professional life I’m now enjoying.
